What was I thinking?
Why did I think it would be relaxing to bring a 17 month old to the lake?

Just got back from a week in Canada at the in-laws. We had lots of fun, Wil got to ride on ATVs and on the mule (not alive mule a tiny truck mule). We also went to Edmundton and to the zoo there. Wil got to chase a chicken and pet a goat and sheep…then we watched a couple wolves running around chasing each other which really got the snow leopards excited. Then we went to the giant mall (of course I got a migraine…what’s up with that?). They don’t have dolphins at the big mall anymore but they have a sea lion show which Wil LOVED!

Survived camping…or anyway as close to camping as I wanted to get. We spent one night camping at the farm. We slept in the camper which had a toilet and heater. Kyle and I were going to sleep in the big bed but Wil was a little nervous so I ended crashing on the couch next to his pack and play.

Irk! I have so much to do but I need info and the people who can help me are all in a meeting. Groan, hurry up and wait! Why must it always be like this???? Too bad I couldn't bring my laundry to work and fold it while I am in wait mode.

Sick baby!
Baby got sent home sick from daycare yesterday. He never has fevers and last night he hit 104.4! Eeeek....thank goodness the Tylonal started kicking in. He's home with Daddy this morning, but then he's got to go in this afternoon so Mommy gets some sick baby time.

He's dancin' like he never danced before!
My son is a maniac, maniac on the floor! He doesn’t dance…he FLASHDANCES! It’s so funny, it’s like he’s running in place real fast. He was doing it on the graves this weekend at the cemetery…yes, my son dances on people’s graves! I doubt anyone cared.

It was such a nice weekend, I actually got things accomplished (nothing like a 3 day weekend to get some things done!). Anyway, I got my garden mostly in, all I have left is to plant some tomato plants and some pea seeds...and to buy some pea seeds. The beans, carrots, and onions are all planted and enjoying all the rain we got yesterday. This is a good thing since I was sick and tired of dragging water back and forth in the heat.
Took the little guy to the cemetary, he liked running around and poked his little cousin in the cheek. On Monday we went over to my cousin's house to see their new dog and all her puppies. They got the dog about a month ago (she was a stray) and shortly after that they figured out she was preggers. She had 8 puppies...they are super cute, the little guy really wanted to play with them but they are pretty little yet.
4 day work week...but that is still tooo long. Sigh! Uh-oh...someone is calling me at lunch time but I am not falling for that again. Don't feel too helpful at lunchtime! :)

My big boy!
Wil turned 1 yesterday, and for my surprise we had a snow day! Work was CANCELLED!!!! Hooray! Let me just say I am so happy to be at work today. I had no idea my son was such a pain when you need to change a poopie diaper (he poops during the day when he is at daycare and on the weekend either Kyle changes him or he holds him flat while I change him). Say what you will about work, I rarely get covered in poop and pee while I am here.

I had Wil's 1 year picture yesterday!!! He did really well and did not have any meltdowns during the pictures. The only problem we had was with him not wanting to stand on the little red dot that he was SUPPOSED to stand on. He would stand there for a couple seconds looking slightly concerned then smile REALLY BIG as he lunged for ME! We were able to get him to sit on a stool for a couple pictures until he decided instead to pick it up and sort of throw it in a corner. He is a funny little dude.

After the photosession we were waiting around to pick our pics and Wil fell flat on his face and started to SCREAM! I went over and picked him up and there was all sorts of blood coming out of his mouth!!!! Eeeek! Mommy doesn't do well with blood!!!! Long story short he was fine. He happily chewed on a kleenex and the blood flow stopped in a minute or two. It took me much longer to recover, of course.

There is too much Easter candy in my stomach!!! It is making me ill. How did it get there? Snuck down my throat when I wasn't looking!!! Bad. Bad. Bad. Trecherous Easter Candy. Arrrrggggggghhhh. I need an Easter Candy antidote!!!!

It was cold in the house yesterday when we woke up...the furnance was out! It a good thing we keep a heater in baby's room so he was okay. He and I hung out in his room while Daddy froze his butt off trying to clear snow away from whatever was blocking the whatimacalit (exhaust?) and light the pilot (oh, THAT'S why I keep him around!!!!).

It took a while, but I was able to figure out a costume. It's not clever or really cool but it was the best I could do considering I don't fit in anything anymore. I'm going to be a witch...Whoo, hoo. Wil is going to be really cute, he's a bat. They are going to put the costumes on the kids at daycare this afternoon, then we are going to stop by a couple people's houses for trick or treating.

Wil is growing up too fast! Friday he started to crawl, now he is all over the place. We started cleaning the floors...I cleaned and mopped the kitchen and Kyle cleaned and vacuumed the living room and family room. Then on Sunday as I was walking past his room I saw him out of the corner of my eye STANDING IN HIS CRIB! Irk. Kyle was busy lowering his crib when he got back from hunting. Now he has been pulling himself up on the couch...how much longer before he starts to walk????!!!???? I need to work on my cleaning skills.

Started beans this weekend. He LOVES them. Gobbles them right up, so far this boy is a good eater.

Yesterday was fiscal year end (or something) so I got to live in Reconcile City!!!! Got it all done with a whopping 10 minutes to spare. Hooray!!! Now I can work on something else today.

In Wil news...he rolled him self over this morning. I went in to give him his morning bottle and there he was on his tummy. I knew it was coming, he had almost gotten over a few days ago but his Aquarium fish toy got in his way. I love that thing...it is the best toy ever!

Wil had a good first day of daycare yesterday. There are lots of girls in his 'class' and he loves to flirt. I guess there is another little girl who like to talk and kick (similar interests!) and I've been told they looked like twins.

But who is counting. Oh right, ME. I think he's running out of room in there, and he's kicking up a storm. Very distracting when trying to work...or sleep, wait sleep? What's that again? Last night I hardly got any because it is uncomfortable and I keep waking up because I'm worried about all the stuff that still has to be done at work. I suppose it will all work itself out. Hopefully I can get some sleep tonight...this morning I got a handle on the project I had been avoiding so I shouldn't have to bother being concerned with it anymore. :) Progress!

Either way I think he will be late, the theory is he will be born on April Fools Day...and he will be a girl. Oooops. Of course then I will be forced to laugh!

Now if only I dared eat lunch...

Brrrrrr...
The oddest thing happened when I got up this morning...I was cold! I'm NEVER cold anymore (unless I'm outside...maternity pants are not that warm) so I wandered over to the thermostat intending to knock it up a few notches. Much to my surprise the house was at 50 degrees and the furnace was out. Yikes! So after many failed attempts to relight the furnace Kyle was able to determine that a snowdrift was covering some outlet on the outside of the house (as opposed to the inside or the house) and he got the furnace running again without the assistance of a expensive repair man! Hooray!!!! It's so nice to have someone handy around. :)

Wiggler
Junior must be getting bigger because he is wiggling a lot now. This morning I was even able to feel him on the outside of my belly. I am starting to resemble a small house now. I am so huge, the scariest part is I have 3-4 more months of getting huge. I hope I can still waddle to work by the end.

There he goes again...wiggle, wiggle. He's obviously taking after his mother!

Ultrasound yesterday...
It's a boy!!!! He's not shy and he is a wiggler which is news to me because I can't feel a thing.

Had my Dr's appt yesterday, baby still has a heartbeat so that is a relief. They talked me into a flu shot...YUCK! I HATE SHOTS!!! Now my arm huuuuuuuurrrrttts. Hopefully it won't give me the flu.

New nephew
Well my new sis-in-law had a boy. 9lbs 7 oz...OUCH! He did not want to come out but now that he is out he has the best lungs in the hospital.

We are still moving into our new house, it is such a neverending process. I can't wait til everything is put away, this is too much work! I'm never moving again if I can help it...the horror of it all!!!

I have new little neice! My favorite ex sis-in-law...aka MY baby sister...had a darling 6 lb 12 oz baby girl on the 3rd of July. Eleanor Ann...but I'm calling her Ellie whether her Mom likes it or not. :) She's a major cutie who enjoys sleeping and eating while sleeping and then sleeping more.
